My daughter wanted an Avenger's cake, but with Batman included. Well, I wanted a girly cake, and she ultimately did too. So, this is what happened. Jewelry boxes, with Hero accents.
Notice the Batman shoe, and the Iron Man jeweled ring.
And here are the Thor hammer bracelet, Hulk ring, and Captain America bracelet. It really turned out fun. All the accents are done with Gum paste, which I normally hate using, but for this it just worked better. Still learning on the shoe and jewelry, but we'll get there.

T-Rex Birthday Cake
What could be better for a 4-year-old's birthday than a scary looking T-Rex popping out of his birthday cake? My poor 2 year old kept saying, "dinosaur scary,' in her cute little voice. What a fun cake, though! I really like doing different cakes. Even the boy cakes are so fun for me!
The head is cake with rice krispies molded around it to get the shape. The claws (I know, they're really too big) are rice krispie treats as well, covered in modeling chocolate and 'painted' with coloring gels. Cake is just chocolate frosting, green frosting, crushed Oreos and rock candy.
